Joomla - multitude of functions and easy usage

The Joomla editorial system convinces with a solid overall concept. Important functions like news and administration of contacts are integrated core functions. The modern, uncomplicated interface will make the initial training of the user very easy. Some of these are news and shop systems or discussion forums. Typo3 is also widely propagated. An estimated 200,000 pages already use Typo3, among them big players like MAN and UNICEF. There is even a regularly published magazine that deals mostly with Typo3.

Mediawiki - sharing information as a major task

Mediawiki is a specialized system. It is usually not suitable to be used to administrate a web appearance on its own but is an add on for special tasks. Mediawiki makes it possible for all visitors to apply changes to the information found on the page. The famous Internet encyclopedia Wikipedia uses this system and plays a major part in the system's development. It can, for example, be used for customer support pages.
